Kate is a student at Otsego Academy. While in high school, Kate was involved with numerous community organizations and was involved in Girl Scouts, Chorus and Drama Club. Theater was her passion and Kate was involved with various dance troops and theater groups, playing many roles in the local productions like The Little Mermaid, Willy Wonka, and the Wizard of Oz. Kate also volunteered for theater fundraisers and also did volunteer work with the Salvation Army. One of her greatest honors was winning the “Yes I Can” award in 2008, a nationally recognized award in which she received congratulation letters from both Senator Ted Kennedy and President George W. Bush.
