Lindsey Nicole Allen: Northern Kentucky University (Maudie’s Scholarship Award)

Maudie’s Scholarship Award Recipient Lindsey Nicole Allen is attending Northern Kentucky University where she has already completed her freshman year. She was awarded the Outstanding Volunteer and Community Service Award in High School. She is Team Manager for the NKU Norse Dance team.
Lindsey’s persuasive speech before her university speech class on banning “the R-word” presented her the opportunity to speak publicly at several schools about Down syndrome and disabilities. She enjoys “encouraging people to pursue their dream and go to college.”
