Jonah is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Joseph Zucco Scholarship Award. This fall he begins his third year in the Makor College Experience program at Yeshiva University, where he is studying Judaic and general studies. His future goals include getting his driver’s license and living independently.
Jonah’s hobbies include playing tennis and basketball, playing his Wii, watching sports and riding his bike. He is very proud to have learned to take an Uber from New York to his home in New Jersey all by himself. He loves living with roommates in his apartment on the Yeshiva University campus in NYC. He and his friends enjoy walking to class together, eating in the cafeteria or at a local restaurant, and going to the gym to swim or work out.
On weekends, Jonah comes home and enjoys spending time with his family. He also has weekly practice with his Special Olympics tennis team. This summer, he competed in the New Jersey Summer Games.
