Gretchen is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Rowan Eichler Scholarship Award. This fall she begins her freshman year in the Opportunity Orange Scholars program at Oklahoma State University, where she plans to study career and community studies. She is excited to learn about how to lead an independent life and figure out exactly what career she wants to pursue. One of her goals is to join a sorority at OSU, just like her big sister. After college, she wants to be a teacher’s aide so she can help young children. From a young age, Gretchen has always loved helping others, especially younger kids.
Gretchen’s hobbies include spending time with her friends and her sisters. She loves to shop, go to Starbucks and make TikTok videos. She is very proud to have been a member of the Kingfisher FFA Chapter Officer Team two years in a row. She got to help her team plan events for the chapter and the community. She loves being a student advisor because she gets to help others and spend time with friends.
