Virginia is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient and this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Joseph Zucco Scholarship Award. She is a sophomore in the InclusiveU program at Syracuse University, where she is studying creative writing.
Virginia loves reading, writing poems and short stories, drinking coffee, and going out with friends. She takes kickboxing lessons to stay strong and is also taking acting lessons in hopes of becoming an actress someday. She is active in a survivors’ group and says, “I am smart and I have lots to say. I help people not be afraid to tell their stories.”
