Grant, who also goes by G$, is this year’s recipient of the Ruby’s Rainbow Team Wes Scholarship Award. He will be a student this fall at Erskine Green Training Institute, where he will be training to become a host and serving assistant.
Grant loves country music and knows the words and artists of every popular country song. He also loves basketball, baseball, fishing, driving his Go-Cart, and digging huge holes at the beach (and talking to any passersby who stop to comment on his work).
Grant loves his three brothers, two nephews and entire family, to whom he is grateful for their support throughout school and beyond. He is very proud of himself for earning his high school diploma—after being told he would not be able to do so.
