Walker Lindsay is this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Ayala Scholarship Award recipient and will be attending the University of Nevada, Reno as a P2I (Path to Independence) student. A talented dancer, he has been doing hip-hop and break dancing since he was five years old. He was on the ski team in high school and won the coach’s Most Inspirational Skier award. He was also a member of the Envirolution Club for four years, participating in weekly meetings and regular performances geared toward teaching the community about the importance of environmental actions like recycling. Walker was also a Distinguished Scholar in high school and graduated with a 3.76 GPA. He has worked for the past year as a greeter and bellman at a local ski resort.
In college, Walker plans to pursue his longtime dream of becoming a DJ. He makes friends easily and has always been very passionate about his life. We think you rock, Walker!
