Sean Sieleni is this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Warriors For Walt Scholarship Award recipient and will be attending Bethel University this fall as a student in the BUILD program. His four big, lifelong dreams have begun coming true: first, graduating from high school with a diploma, which he accomplished in June 2018; second, working in law enforcement, which he accomplished when he became the first graduate of the Minnesota Growth Through Opportunity Police Cadet program in November 2018; third, attending college, which he will accomplish starting this fall; and fourth, buying a house and living on his own with friends. His fourth goal has yet to be accomplished, but he will be taking courses in independent living, job and employment, and math and finance at Bethel, in part to work toward realizing that final big life goal.
