Megan Caldwell is this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Maudie’s Scholarship Award recipient, and she will be attending Kent State University this fall in the Career and Community Studies program. She has worked for three summers as a kitchen assistant at a local Girl Scouts camp, and is a dedicated member of her church choir. She played volleyball in high school and earned a varsity letter, and also won a gold medal at the State Special Olympics Swim Meet; she has also taken ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap and modern dance classes for 15 years.
Megan loves making videos and writing movie scripts. She also loves listening to music and doing arts and crafts. In college, she plans to work on her career and independence skills so she can live with a roommate someday and work producing music. We believe in you, Megan — we think you rock!
