Hannah LaCour is this year’s Ruby’s Rainbow Alamo Drafthouse Scholarship Award recipient. She will be attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she and her sister, who is also a UL student, will be roommates. Hannah was active in student council and Girl Scouts in high school, and was named a DS Ambassador by the National Down Syndrome Society. She loves swimming, dancing, cooking and karate. In college, she plans to take criminal justice classes and earn good grades, so she can work in a police department someday.
Hannah says, “WOW — 2019 is a Great Year for me. I got accepted to college. Me and my sister will go to college together. I graduated from High School and my Dad got a new kidney. There is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.” We love your amazing attitude, Hannah — keep on rockin’ it!
