Will is set to begin his first year at Vanderbilt University in the Next Steps program. He hopes to take courses in directing theatre productions, as drama was his favorite subject in high school.
Will has been active in Best Buddies, Young Life and Special Olympics. He takes guitar and horseback riding lessons, and plays baseball and basketball with his YMCA’s Full Circle teams. He has done volunteer work with his church as well as Salvation Army.
In his scholarship application, Will wrote, “I hope college will help me on learning new things and being independent. I want to go to college because my family went to college.” We’re so glad you get to go to Vanderbilt, Will! We know you’re going to keep rockin’ it there!
