Michael Dillworth – University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (The Papa and Ellie Scholarship Award)

Michael will begin his second year at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where he is studying theatre and career skills.

Michael has attained Star Scout status in Boy Scouts of America. He was active in theater in high school, performing in four musicals and lettering in Theatre for two years. He was also inducted into the International Thespian Society. He graduated with honors and was chosen through an audition process to speak at his high school graduation ceremony. He has also participated in Special Olympics basketball, track and field, bowling, and softball.

In his scholarship application, Michael wrote, “By being at [college], I can get closer to my goals and dreams in life.” We are rooting you on, Michael! Keep on rockin’ it at UCCS!
