October Awareness Campaign Participant Information and Guidelines

Thank you for being a part of our October Awareness Campaign!!

Every day during the month of October, we will be highlighting a Rockin’ Recipient, supporter or person within the organization on our socials (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube).  We thought it would be so fun to do a “Come With Me…” series to highlight what our recipients are up to, how college and getting a Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship is impacting their lives and the lives of others!!

We have a few ideas below but get creative! The world needs your joy!

ADVENTURE IDEAS:

• Get ready with me (and do a little video of where you are going)
• Cook with me
• Come to work with me
• Let’s go shopping together (grocery or clothes)
• Sorority, Fraternity or college event
• Travel (Come with me on my trip)
• Graduation and/or Graduation photos
• Volunteering or internship
• Karaoke night with friends
• Night on the town with friends
• Sports event or game
• Camping, hiking or something outdoors
• Summer vacation
• College drop off or orientation
• Just hanging out doing something you love!

Video Guidelines:

1. Please take all videos from your Phone VERTICALLY (up and down)
2. Upload up to 10 video clips from your adventure. **note** We understand some videos may go over 2 minutes to get all the goodness, but please try to keep each video between 1-2 minutes for editing purposes if possible.
3. Your adventure needs to have an intro, middle and an end:
   • Start with something like “Hi! My name is Ruby! Come with me today while we head to cheer practice!” **note** If you are currently in college, you could include that also in the intro, or where you graduated from.
   • Your adventure should include fun clips of whatever you are doing. Show your personality!!
   • The ending video you can say something like, “Thanks for hanging with me today!” or end it however you like!
4. We want the videos to be from YOUR point of view!
5. Show your personality!! Don’t think too hard about it…just have fun with it!
6. The videos don’t have to be perfect, just authentic so we can highlight your awesomeness! We will edit them down into 3 minute or less reels, so just have fun with it and we will whip it up into something awesome!

**One last request! **

We are doing a video at the end the campaign to highlight the beauty and importance of loving yourself! So please send us a simple video of you saying:

“I LOVE MYSELF BECAUSE….”
