The Importance of Being Valued for Who We Are

I know this is a super cute pic of two little girls in the tiniest cheerleading outfits…but it represents so much more. It represents the hopes and dreams of friendships and experiences that we might have once thought to tuck away with a diagnosis. It isn’t about being the cool kid or the cheerleader or the football star…it is simply about being valued and accepted for who we are. We each bring something different into this world, and what the Ruby’s and Nella’s bring is beyond measure.
