Having Ruby in my life has changed me profoundly. I used to consider myself a very kind and compassionate person before she came to us rockin’ that magical extra chromosome, but seeing the world through her eyes has AMPLIFIED all the good parts of me. AND I believe all the good parts of everyone she meets.
I am way more aware now of all people around me, their triumphs…and also their struggles and want EVERY person to feel seen and loved. Also, people with Down syndrome set such good examples of how to be your authentic self…and the world for sure needs SO MUCH MORE of that!
