Back in 2016, we had a vision of a future in which these girls could follow their dreams, whatever those dreams might be…we envisioned them developing their skills and doing meaningful work in any area of their choosing. They might even grow up to be artists, or photographers – the sky was the limit!
Well now we know better than ever before that the possibilities are endless – and we are seeing how being included, raising expectations and dreaming alongside them is truly changing their lives and the lives of everyone around them for the better! We see people with Down syndrome across the world who are artists, painters, photographers, as well as lobbyists, teachers, chefs, Zumba instructors…you name it, they are doing it and they are SLAYING it.
I gets me SO EXCITED for the future and to see what opportunities and possibilities are around the corner!!
