“I hope I can be a positive role model for somebody”

“I am taking a year off from Bethel University due to Covid-19 but I am continuing my learning at home. I am taking a LinkedIn Learning course online called Administrative Professional. I am learning a lot of cool things. I am also taking a few Special Olympics ALPs online courses. In August, I became a Global Messenger after writing and presenting my speech. I am going through employment discovery process with a company called Kaposia to find my dream job. I also have been working hard on improving my gymnastics skills.
“Something I am proud of since starting college is I have become more independent, confident and organized since starting college.
“I can’t wait for things to get back to normal so I can return to Bethel University and be on my own again.
Ruby’s Rainbow has supported me for two years in college. I am so grateful because college is so expensive.
I read about all the amazing things Ruby’s Rainbow recipients are doing and it inspires me to get more involved.
