Have you ever had a bad day and then one person looks you in the eyes, smiles at you…and suddenly life doesn’t seem so bad?
Sometimes that’s all it can take to turn your day around. Studies have shown that hiring people with disabilities can improve job morale and corporate culture. You are also adding highly motivated people to the workforce and promoting an inclusive culture. I see the power of inclusion every day in Ruby’s classroom and it’s no different in the workplace. It isn’t just benefiting the person being included…it brings so many benefits to the entire community.
Besides, how could seeing these three in the office everyday not make you smile?!
