Down Syndrome Awareness Month — Pilar: The Life of the Party

Pilar’s dream is to work in education, and she’s already putting those skills to use by working with kids at a daycare on campus.

It hasn’t all been easy. There were bumps along the way, moments she wanted to give up, and lessons about what it means to be professional. But dreams don’t always unfold perfectly the first time. Sometimes they take extra courage, fresh starts, and a willingness to grow.

Pilar is showing all of that. She keeps moving forward, keeps learning, and keeps believing in what’s possible, and we are so proud to cheer her on!!

Pliar’s personality is so bright and fun!! She is a total prankster (like for real a prankster 😆) and the one that brings everyone together with her laugh and energy! ❤️
