A Glimpse into Post-College Life with Rockin’ Recipient Ali

To say this trip has given me “all the feels” would be an understatement. To be able to hang out with Ali and get a glimpse of what her life is like now- after college -has brought me so many happy, hopeful tears for the future of my own daughter. It’s hard not to picture Ruby’s face when I see Ali working with kids at the preschool, being valued and loved by her community and walking hand in hand with her boyfriend as we stroll to dinner. I don’t know what’s in the cards for my own daughter, but I sure know that the possibilities are endless and that opportunity for all those dreams I dreamed before she was born can still come true.
