One of my favorite things about Abdel is his deep love for his family and his culture. He even taught himself to play the tabla drums and how to speak Arabic, and was SO excited to head to Syracuse University’s InclusiveU program last fall to continue expanding his passions and dreams!
After his heart surgery when he was very little, his mom felt like he had a second chance at life and wanted to give him all the opportunities she could for him to be the best he could be. One of those opportunities was college, and today…he is THRIVING!!❤️
