Ruby’s High School Journey: The Cheer Squad

“We should all be more like Ruby.” ❤️😭

Ever since Ruby was little, all I have ever wanted was for her to feel loved and valued for EXACTLY who she is, for her to have a life full of opportunity and be surrounded by people who BELIEVE in her. With my whole heart, I can say that she feels all these things and more with her cheerleading squad and coaches. ❤️😭 They lift her up and help her be the best that she can be…just as she does the same for them.

It’s the silent ways that we learn from each other that I think we sometimes take for granted AND can also be the most meaningful.

Which I believe wholeheartedly why inclusion and loving and accepting every person as they are is SO important! It’s for sure not always easy, but I am SO proud of Ruby’s determination and how hard she works, and also SO proud of how everyone on this squad sees Ruby as…simply RUBY. ❤️
