“I think early on making her believe in herself. Telling her that, ‘yes you have Down syndrome, but Down syndrome doesn’t have you.’ And just putting her in environments where she can thrive.”
I can see where Melissa gets her strength, determination and confidence from…her mom is a huge force in her life and talks about how things haven’t been easy for Melissa. But she continues to forge on and succeed. We are SO PROUD OF HER!!
