Ruby and I were honored to be invited to Alex and Elliott’s wedding. And of course, I teared up when I saw Alex walking down the aisle, but what I didn’t expect was to look over and see Ruby crying too 😭❤️
In that moment, she saw the possibilities…she saw that she CAN keep dreaming. ❤️
And DREAMING BIG is a powerful thing, y’all. It’s how we have cured diseases, extended life expectancies, created inclusive college programs, and built supportive communities where EVERYONE belongs. It’s how we’ve watched our Rockin’ Recipients achieve what others once thought IMPOSSIBLE and show the world just how CAPABLE and WORTHY they truly are! ❤️
Alex’s mom said it best:
“It’s not just about Alex. It’s about the next and the next. Because the more people who get married or go to college, whatever, the more people will be hired for jobs. Everybody has a place. Everybody has a reason. And so, for me…it’s not just the wedding. It’s the significance. It’s my daughter’s happiness, But I want people to know happiness can be for everyone.” ❤️
