I have always felt that each of us has the power within us to help make this world a better place. Every little bit helps, and nomatter how big or small, each act of kindness means something.

But together…as a community of compassionate people, we have been able to join together and do something amazing. With all the Pledging and the sharing we have been able to raise an astonishing $92,500 to help people like my Ruby Doobs reach their dreams of higher education. A population of people that was once institutionalized and not given the opportunity to spread their wings and fly. A population of people that most people believe didn’t have the potential to learn. I had the opportunity to march across the WCU campus last week with some amazing students standing together to make a difference. Standing together to help make a more compassionate, brighter future. And this week, I have have had the opportunity to join together with people all over the world and take the 3/21 Pledge. A Pledge that shows me that you believe. You believe in the Ruby’s and the Zach’s and the Ali’s. Thank you so much! We still have 8 days until 3/21, so please continue to share and help us spread the word about the 3/21 Pledge, but more importantly the capabilities of these amazing individuals.
