Ali Goes to Work!

Ever wonder what life looks like for someone with Down syndrome after they graduate college? I think a lot of people may not even realize that individuals with Down syndrome are capable of having the opportunity to go to college… much less what they may do after they graduate. We followed Ali, one of our Rockin’ Recipients, to see just what her life looks like now after graduating from the WCU University Participant (UP) Program to help give a glimpse into how college and her support system have helped her live out her dreams of a more independent life and working with kids!
We wanted to know what this can truly look like, not just the “rainbows and unicorns” version. So bring heart (and your tissues) along for ride!!
