Annie Reid

Annie is a mom of four, including her two youngest daughters who both rock an extra chromosome. Her family’s journey with Down syndrome began in 2011 and sparked a lasting passion for advocacy, education, and inclusion. Annie believes deeply that all individuals have inherent value and worth and should be afforded the same opportunities as their peers. As her daughters grow, her family is increasingly focused on what the future can look like for them, and it is her hope that they will have the opportunity to pursue postsecondary education in the same meaningful way as their two older siblings. Annie is honored to serve on this committee and to support scholarships that help make those opportunities possible.
