Doady Rogers

My history with Ruby’s Rainbow begins at the beginning, when it was a growing idea. What you see today is a true example of belief. It’s proof that when you follow your dreams and truly believe, it will turn out bigger and better than imagined!! I’m honored to have been there at the dining room table, assisting in the magic.

Somewhere along the way, I got a full-time job as a licensed paramedic and felt it best that someone who could give the organization their full attention should take my place. It was a tough but necessary decision. In my time away, I still donated to the 3/21 Pledge and attended the RainBOWL events every summer.

Having now retired from EMS, I’m dedicating myself to the things I hold most dear. Top of that list is my oldest brother, Charlie. He’s been rockin’ that extra chromosome for over 50 years and has always been my guiding light. Since Ruby’s Rainbow started, I’ve wanted to raise enough money for a scholarship in Charlie’s name. So I’m signing up with the committee to recommit to Ruby and her family, and to my brother. I’m excited to celebrate Charlie and the Ruby’s Rainbow community through this Pledge and the years to come!!
