Brooke Connor

Hi! We’re the Connor family, and we live in Durham, NC. Ellie is our little ray of sunshine who rocks an extra chromosome. She is funny and sassy and absolutely adored by everyone who meets her! Ellie has changed our lives in the best of ways; she has taught us to focus on family, happiness, and health instead of getting caught up in little worries, and she has given her brothers the gift of compassion toward those who are different from them.

We are so excited to be part of the Ruby’s Rainbow Pledge Committee this year! As an educator, I know the value of education for all, and I love that Ruby’s Rainbow brings awareness to the fact that post-secondary educational options exist for people with Down syndrome and are accessible. Organizations like Ruby’s Rainbow make me excited about Ellie’s future and her journey to reach her dreams!
