Hi! My name is Brittany and I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. My husband, Tim, grew up on Long Island, New York. Because of his job in the Army, we were living in Germany when Charlotte was born and got a diagnosis of Down syndrome. While it was a surprise at the time, we have never looked back and could not imagine our life any other way!
Charlotte has a younger brother and sister, and our life is crazy and hectic, but we absolutely love it. When Charlotte got a second diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes, we started an Instagram for her to try and connect with other people who were in a similar situation. It has become a great resource and has connected our family to amazing families and organizations like Ruby’s Rainbow.
Ruby’s Rainbow is more than just scholarships for kids going to college. It shows the world how worthy children with Down syndrome really are!
