As our Scholarship Selection Committee works their way through this year’s scholarship applications to determine who will receive a 2020 Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship, I can’t help but think about how different this fall might look for students across the world, including our Rockin’ Recipients. Distance-learning might still be in place…students who have been so excited about living independently in the dorms or with roomies might have to start their fall semesters at home, via computer… But one thing I do know: Classes WILL be in session, one way or another, and our incredible and inspiring scholarship recipients WILL be pursuing post-secondary education and the furthering of their educational dreams and future goals. And I, for one, am SO PROUD of all of them!! 🤩❤️
Rockin’ Recipient Darbi emailed us about how her studies have been going since Stay-at-Home began this spring:
“These eight weeks have been great, I did major projects, this is the two that I did – the first one I did was a prop box, this helps children with their hand motor skills and the prop box is totally hands-on, preschoolers learn from play. The second one I did was staged if drawing portfolio, I discussed the theories and so many more stuff in the project”
LOVE THIS!! 😍😍 I especially loved what Darbi said about making her dreams come true:
“I love being in college it has been a dream of mine since I was little, my family has been so supportive of me and I can’t believe I made my dream come true.”
❤️😍🙌
We are so proud of you, Darbi!! Keep on making your dreams come true!!
