Peeps!! I just ❤️❤️❤️ hearing from our scholarship recipients!!! Recently Taryn Stinson, one of our incredible & inspiring 2017 Rockin’ Recipients, emailed me to catch me up on how she’s doing at UNC Greensboro in their Integrated Communities Studies program!! In her own words:

“I had started volunteering at the Civil rights Museum this year of 2017 and 2018, my spring semester as a junior. I do: Bulk mailing, data entry, getting things together. I ask for more hours for my spring semester because I’m taking a Internship course in Beyond Academics and I’m trying to get an Internship at the Civil Rights Museum and see it can turn into a paying Job for me because I always dream to work in an History Museum. And I’m almost done my 3 year as a Junior than in 2018 In the fall I will be a Senior my 4th year and I’m very excited”

We’re so excited for you, Taryn!!! Below is a pic of Taryn at her work!!

Taryn is not only a TWO-TIME Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship recipient (2015 & 2017), she also helps support the mission and values of Ruby’s Rainbow as one of our Ambassadors!
