I am in my third semester at Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC). This
semester I am taking Safety & Sanitation (introduction to basic culinary
fundamentals), a computer & technology course, and an environmental science
course. I will have 21 total credits toward my Associates degree by the spring.
My truffles business is still running smoothly as can be. Just in the past few months I
was in Chicago for the ChefConnect Convention. I attended with fellow American
Culinary Federation (ACF) members, and it was a blast.
Outside of this event I went to The Second City and saw The Best OF Second City Troupe Showcase where I gave
a suggestion for a skit. I also saw Love Labour’s Lost at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre there.
Theatre is one of my passions, and I just got the privilege to be on the Tech Crew for
Disney’s Beauty And The Beast at Springfield Little Theatre (SLT). It was a blast, and
I had lots of fun. All 19 performances were sold out. The next show I’ll be teching
will be Freckleface Strawberry The Musical. I can’t wait for it. Meanwhile, I am
taking voice and dance lessons.
I am currently volunteering at Ozarks Food Harvest (OFH) as often as possible. Last
year I had over 100 hours of volunteering and currently getting more. I also try to
serve the community by donating my truffles and providing tastings for several local
charities.
I am also seeking a girlfriend. I am single and available.
I am in a Jedi training martial arts class every Saturday morning. It’s really fun. It’s
all about the forms of Jedi (martial) arts as well as stage combat, history, and other
things. I am also a two-year player of Dungeons and Dragons. I play on
Wednesdays. I go weekly with food for all and the Dungeon Master (DM) is a friend
of mine.
I maintain g a job at Waverly House Gifts & Gallery. It’s only a part time job on
Wednesday afternoons, but I enjoy it. I help with the customer database on
computer, mailings, filing, and organization. Other activities and hobbies of mine
are: Horseback Riding, Bowling, Playing basketball, hanging with friends, texting,
Facebooking, cooking, and singing in the church choir.
Keep on rockin’ it Adam!!!
