“It is important to learn new things.” – Victoria Hall
Victoria Hall, an Appalachian State University (Scholars with Diverse Abilities Program) attendee, applied to her university four times before being accepted, showing her ability to work hard and show the perseverance necessary to learn and grow. “I felt very proud when I was accepted [at ASU]. I am proud because both of my sisters went to college. I was very patient and worked hard to get accepted.”
Victoria was in Special Olympics for 10 years, competing in Aquatics and Equestrian events, and loves to watch movies. She was the Gilmore Idol Show 2013 Entertainer of the Year, and was awarded the “Most Accomplished Intern” for the Fayetteville Swampdogs baseball club.
