Scott is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who was awarded his first Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship in 2015. He is entering his senior year in the Beyond Academics program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he lives just off campus with a roommate.
Scott is active with OnStage and Inclusive, a theater group for people with disabilities. He is also active in a self-advocacy group that does community service projects. He was nominated to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars in 2016. He has also been working at Chili’s for the past eight years.
In his scholarship application, Scott wrote, “Being in college inspires me with all the new things I have done and learned.” You are an inspiration to us, Scott! Keep on rockin’ it all the way to graduation!
