Otischa Smiley – University of Nevada–Las Vegas Project F.O.C.U.S. (The Lucky Few Scholarship Award)

Olivia is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who was awarded her first Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship in 2017. She is beginning her sophomore year at Vanderbilt University in the Next Steps program. Her goal after graduation is to live independently, possibly in Hawaii, and to work as a famous singer, FBI agent, poet or fashion model.

A prolific songwriter, Olivia takes songwriting classes at Vanderbilt, and she has also had internships doing office work at the Vanderbilt Medical Center and the Owen School of Business. She is proud to be in charge of her own calendar, schedule and transportation.
