Kirsta will be starting her college career this fall at Bethel University. She is an outspoken advocate who has received numerous accolades for her performance of “Brave”. As you can see, she’s a highly accomplished as an ASL signer!

Kirsta loves to be onstage whenever possible, having appeared in plays ranging from Annie to Willy Wonka. She’ll be looking to continue perfecting her skills in acting at Bethel University, as she can’t wait to participate in their theatre classes.

When asked what a Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship would mean to her, she replied, “It would make me feel like all my hard work and activities were worth it and going to BU is going to happen. It is special to have Down syndrome and it is special that Ruby’s Rainbow knows that.”

We think it’s special too Kirsta. Keep on rockin’ it!!
