Kayla McAulifffe is an outstanding leader in her community. As a part of the Interact club, she spends time supporting and fundraising for the local homeless, animal shelters and food bank. Her passion for helping others along with hard work and determination landed her the coveted role of co-captain on her high school cheerleading team. In a news interview, a very poised and articulate Kalya spoke of how much the cheerleading team and leadership role impacted her life and future.
Kayla is attending college at the Riverview School GROW program in Connecticut. Through her work experience in veterinary offices and shelters, Kayla found a love of animals and wants to learn animal care. Her dream is to work at the Marine Rescue Center to rescue and rehabilitate sea turtles.
