Jared Okun says it best himself: “My disability has no impact on my goals.” Jared was captain of his high school wrestling team in New York State; he also worked at a pizza kitchen in Fayetteville, NY, and currently volunteers in the infant care room at the Fayetteville YMCA as well as at Gigi’s Playhouse. He has been working on developing his confidence through public speaking, and he keeps friends and family updated on his activities through his blog. Jared is passionate about music as well as caring for children, and will study childcare and music at Otsego College. Keep on rockin’, Jared!
