Isabel is entering her second year in the TAP program at the University of Cincinnati. In her scholarship application, she wrote, “I live on campus and it has given me a lot of confidence to be a better version of myself.”

In high school, Isabel was in a steel drum band and an active athlete who won MVC athlete of the month as well as Most Improved Swimmer in 2015. She is also a hard worker who has done 200 hours of community service.

Isabel shared with us that “I am no longer running away from having Down syndrome. I have two incredible, wonderful parents who made me realize that no one can tell me apart from the learning disability I was born with.” We think you are perfect and inspiring exactly as you are, Isabel! Keep on rockin’ it in college!
