Dalton is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who was awarded his first Ruby’s Rainbow scholarship in 2017. He attends the ClemsonLIFE Program at Clemson University, where his favorite class is Salsa Dancing.
Dalton reports that his favorite part of being in college is all of his new friendships, which “make me feel grown up.” He has played on the ClemsonLIFE STAR basketball and flag football teams and has worked at Salvation Army and the Walmart distribution center.
In his scholarship application, Dalton wrote, “I love being in college. I am learning to be independent. I would tell other kids that want to go to college to do it! Mom and dad just let go. It will be fine.” Excellent advice, Dalton — you are an inspiration! Keep on rockin’ it at Clemson!
