BreAnna White, also known as Breezy, is a two-time Rockin’ Recipient who is pursuing an Associate’s degree in General Studies at Georgia Highlands College. She is starting her third year at GHC this fall and will be taking a college algebra course. She has worked at the on-campus preschool, reading aloud to the children, and was honored her first year at GHC as an Emerging Leader.
Breezy says that “being in college means that I am continually learning,” and has this advice for others who are thinking about attending college: “Know that it is hard, but with courage and determination, I know that anyone can become all that they want to be.” Her dream is to become the first person with Down syndrome to graduate from Georgia Highlands with an Associate’s degree, and her goal is to become a nurse. We know you can do it, Breezy — you rock!
