Annemarie Carrigan is a songwriter, blogger, choir singer, self-advocate, and activist working for inclusive social, educational and career opportunities for people of all abilities. She is working on writing her life’s story, and is also a young woman of faith who traveled to Guatemala with her church’s youth group to build homes in an impoverished community.

She just completed her senior year at Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas, where she helped found the Highland Park chapter of the Best Buddies program. Annemarie is now enrolled in the University of Central Missouri’s Thrive Program, and will begin studies in Fall 2015. Her dream is to be a fashion critic in New York City. Keep on rockin’, Annemarie!
